Dutch Apple Bread with Vanilla Glaze

If there is only one apple recipe you make this apple season, make it a good one. Therefore, make it this recipe for Dutch Apple Bread. Not only is Dutch Apple Bread loaded with chopped apples, it has a delicious layer of cubed butter, mixed with flour, sugar, brown sugar and ground cinnamon. This mixture is sprinkled on the top of the bread batter before baking. While baking it forms a crunchy topping that stands up perfectly to the vanilla glaze. A perfect blend of fall flavors, Dutch Apple Bread with Vanilla Glaze will soon become a new fall, family favorite.

Apples Apples & More Apples

Over the years, here at Turnips 2 Tangerines we have posted many recipes containing apples. We still get our apples (and pears) at the same orchard we’ve gone too for many years. It’s located right outside of Bonduel WI, on highway 47. It’s family owned and operated by the hard working Krakow family. Everflow orchard has grown considerably since we first started stopping there some 12 years ago. One of my very first posts back in 2012 featured Everflow Orchard.
