Door County Cherry Berry Cookies

If you’re looking for a delicious and addicting cookie, then these are for you! I’ve been making these cookies for years and we never get tired of them. Another thing I like about this recipe is you can change the “add on” ingredients and the cookies always turn out delicious. Here are a few of my favorite flavor combinations: white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts, chocolate chips and walnuts and butterscotch chips and pecans. Door County Cherry Berry Cookies are sure to become your family’s favorite.

Berryland’s Best

I have been making this cookie recipe for well over 15 years. The recipe was on the back of  the bag of dried Cherry Berry mix that I had purchased at the Berryland’s Best store located off of highway 41 near Appleton/Little Chute. You simply can’t miss  the store because it has a giant cherry 🍒 out front. I have not been in the store for some time, probably since we made the move up north. The last time I stopped in was a few years back when I bought a huge container of pitted Door County cherries. I then proceeded to come home and made some of the best tasting cherry pie filling I’ve ever eaten. I now order my dried cherry berry mix a online but I definitely need to stop in there very soon. Cherryland’s Best

Dried Fruit

There are so many wonderful ways to use and enjoy dried fruit. All dried fruits are versatile and can be added to just about anything. From dried apricots to raisins, dried fruit is very versatile. Dried fruit can be used in cookies, breads, cakes, scones, bars and so much more. Once used only during the holidays, more specifically for fruitcake, dried fruit is being used throughout the year in many different recipes. Here is the recipe: Oatmeal Cherry Berry Nut Cookies. The recipe is the same as the recipe in the video except white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts are used.
