Healthy Note: Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats from nuts may help lower blood cholesterol. But nuts are high in calories so keep portions small.

    Add a drop of beet juice* for a pink hue in your sugar without food dye! One drop will give color and even several drops (color: fucshia!) will not change the taste.

    *from a raw red beet – a bit grated and pressed through a sieve
