1boxwhite cake mix
1cupwater
1/2cupoil
1cancherry pie filling
1tubcool-whip
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Place a piece of parchment paper in the bottom of baking pan, grease. Flour the pan and set aside.
Make the cake mix according to package directions. Allow the cake to cool in baking pan for 10-15 minutes. Carefully remove cake from pan. Allow cake to cool completely on a wire rack. Cake needs to be cold to the touch before frosting. Place cake on large, parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Stir tub of cool-whip with large spoon. Frost cold cake with cool-whip. Place frosted cake in the refrigerator for several hours to allow cool-whip to ‘set-up’
Spoon cherry pie filling in the middle of the frosted cake, as much as possible. Store cake in the refrigerator.
