Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

- 8 cups fresh cranberries
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
- zest from one orange
Wash cranberries; drain.
Combine sugar and water in a large saucepan.
Boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries.
Continue boiling, without stirring, until skins burst.
Stir in orange zest.
Ladle hot cranberry sauce into hot jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
Adjust two-piece caps. Process 15 minutes in a boiling-water canner.
Remove jars from canner using tongs. Set jars aside, undisturbed for 24 hours.
