  • 1 8 oz tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 tart apple, peeled and thinly sliced into 24 slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice, recipes follows
  • 5 ounces Butterkase cheese, cut into 24 cubes
  1. Unroll crescent roll dough into one long rectangle; seal seams and perforations.
  2. Sprinkle with apple pie spice. Cut into 24 squares.
  3. Lightly press squares into the bottom and up the sides of ungreased miniature muffin cups.
  4. Bake at 375º for 3 minutes. Place a thin slice of apple into each cup, cutting apple to fit if necessary. Place a piece of cheese into each cup.
  5. Bake 6 to 8 minutes longer or until golden brown, cheese is melted and apple is tender
  6. Watch Carefully, they will burn.
