In my family we always serve Tacos on Tuesday but you can serve tacos any day of the week.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 14 oz can refried beans
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 4 oz can diced green chilies
  • 1 8 oz bag shredded lettuce
  • 12 cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounce bag shredded taco cheese blend
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 4 ounce can sliced black olives
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped
  • 8-12 taco shells, crunchy or soft
Directions
  1. Brown hamburger in a large skillet, drain.
  2. Add packet of seasoning mix and 2/3 water.
  3. Cook according to package directions.
  4. Stir in refried beans, salsa and diced green chilies.
  5. Cook until bubbly and thickened.
  6. To assemble on plate: Place shredded lettuce on plate. Top with meat, tomatoes, green onion, shredded cheese, sour cream, taco sauce, avocados, black olives, hot peppers and cilantro.
  7. Serve with taco shells or tortilla chips.
