Made From Scratch

Strawberry chocolate chip pancakes are made from scratch using white whole wheat flour, creamy strawberry yogurt, neon pink food coloring and mini chocolate chips to name just a few ingredients. If you want to make this recipe even easier, make this recipe for strawberry pancakes with your favorite complete buttermilk pancake mix. Our favorite brand is Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix

Recipe Note:

To make strawberry pancakes extra special, try substituting fresh strawberry purée, in place of the creamy strawberry yogurt. Simply mash some fresh strawberries in a bowl with a fork or potato masher. Press the mixture through a double thickness of cheesecloth. The purpose of pressing the  strawberry mixture through cheesecloth is to remove as many of the seeds as possible.
