Green Bean Casserole

Who hasn’t had green bean casserole?!? Does anyone make green bean casserole any other day of the year besides Thanksgiving and/or Christmas? My mom Aggie always made green bean casserole with French-style green beans, a can of cream of mushroom soup and milk. Aggie didn’t add the Worcestershire Sauce or the French Fried Onion Rings, which in my opinion is the best part! I didn’t find out until I was an adult that green bean casserole even had French fried onion rings. In fact, I had never even heard of French fried onion rings until I has well into my 20’s for heaven’s sake.

If your looking for a vegetable recipe that can be served for Thanksgiving, hers are a few that I have served over the years:

Campbell’s Creamed Soup

French’s French Fried Onion Rings
