This year we’ll be concentrating on Dips. Hot dips, Cold dips, and everything in between. You can never have too many dips at a party (dips not drips) and this year we are going to share with you some dips you might not be familiar with, like this recipe for Radish Dip. Made with garlic, radishes, cream cheese and sour cream. Serve with crackers or corn chips. This dip will score a touchdown, even with people who say they don’t like radishes. This dip is irresistible, don’t knock it until you try it!!

Radish comes from the Latin radix, meaning “root.” The radish is in fact the root of a plant in the mustard family. The flavor can be mild to peppery, depending on variety and age. Its skin can vary in color from white to red to purple to black. The shape of radishes can be round, oval or elongated. To add crispness soak in ice water for a few hours before serving. Though radishes are most often served raw in salads, as garnishes and for crudités, they can also be cooked.
