Plain or with Lemon Curd

This bread really doesn’t need anything, it’s that good plain but if you must, lemon curd or a raspberry jam or jelly would be fantastic on this bread. This bread falls more in the category of a dessert or breakfast bread. I have a deep affection towards anything that has a streusel topping, which I’m positive comes from my German heritage. Depending if you serve this bread with lemon curd or jam, don’t forget the coffee! Boston Brown Bread
is a super delicious bread that is made in a coffee can and them steamed in a large pot.
