Upcoming Pork Recipe Round-Up
Today I’m going to share an announcement and an upcoming pork recipe round-up. The recipe round-up will feature different pork recipes that we have previously shared on Turnips 2 Tangerines. We love pork and have shared many recipes featuring this very versatile (white) meat.
Wisconsin Pork Association
Recently I was contacted by Jennifer from Plowing Through Life on behalf of the Wisconsin Pork Association. Wisconsin Pork Association has invited Turnips 2 Tangerines, along with several other food bloggers to be part of their first campaign to showcase pork. I’m so very happy to become a Pork Ambassador with Wisconsin Pork Association. I started blogging almost 7 years ago and one of my goals was to become affiliated with Wisconsin companies. I want to share all things Wisconsin and to spread the word about the fantastic products and places that Wisconsin has to offer.
In the next week or so I’ll be getting more into the details of this new project. Expect many more pork related recipes in the future and a lot of pork ‘talk.’ We’ll talk about what the proper temperature is to cook pork, the different cuts of pork and the importance of pig farmers in today’s world plus so much more. Check back for important links and dates of upcoming events. I will be sharing a recipe and video in July. So stay tuned, you don’t want to miss out on any of the fun!
Keeping it Wisconsin
What does this mean? It means that I will be spending my summer driving the backroads in search of “All Things Wisconsin.” I had planned on returning to the backroads when the weather turned warmer and that day has finally arrived. Drive along with us each week to discover new things to do, places to go, people to meet and food to eat. Our adventure has just begun.
To learn more about who I am read my About Me page. Questions? Feel free to email me anytime at email@example.com. Join our mailing list to receive a newsletter on all of our upcoming events. We are also waiting to hear if we’ve been accepted into the ‘Something Special From Wisconsin’ group. We would then be able to display the ‘Something Special From Wisconsin’ logo. We’ll keep you posted.
