day of the Carnival season and
it always falls the day before
It’s Mardi Gras Time
4 (6 oz)
bone-in pork loin chops (1-inch thick)
onion and garlic seasoning blend
freshly ground black pepper
- Preheat oven to 425º
- Combine juice, marmalade, minced garlic and mustard in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until syrupy.
- Heat a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil; swirl to coat. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with onion/garlic seasoning blend, salt and pepper. Add chops to pan; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned. Turn pork chops over. Pour juice mixture over chops; cook for 10 to 15 minutes longer or until a thermometer registers 140º
