We get up early, have a breakfast of coffee and kringle, the Macy’s Day parade gets turned on. The stuffed turkey goes into the oven by 11 o’clock and before noon, an array of chips and dips come out of the refrigerator, coffee gets replaced with soda or beer and Football begins.

Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and spices. Cream until smooth.
  • Fold in pumpkin and lemon juice.
  • Refrigerate for several hours
