Strawberry Chocolate Chip Pancakes~
Adults and kids alike,
will fall in love with
these bright colored, neon pink,
Strawberry and Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
1 1/2 cups
whole wheat flour
creamy strawberry yogurt
neon pink gel food coloring
mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups
sliced fresh strawberries, optional
- Heat griddle to 375º Lightly grease with oil.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a medium bowl beat eggs, 2/3 cup strawberry yogurt, water and oil with wire whisk until blended. Pour egg mixture into flour mixture. Add few drops of neon pink gel food coloring. Stir until moistened. Scoop batter using a large ladle and pour onto griddle. With the back of a spoon, spread into a circle. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips. Cook a few minutes or until edges begin to brown and bubbles appear on top surface. Flip over and cook until golden brown. Serve with sliced fresh strawberries, strawberry yogurt and/or maple syrup.
