Angel Food Candy
white corn syrup
1 1/2 pounds
milk chocolate, melted (good quality dipping chocolate)
- Combine brown sugar and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Cook to a hard crack stage. Carefully add baking soda, beat quickly until well blended and foamy. Pour into a buttered 15 x 10 x 2 inch pan. Cool until firm. Break into pieces by hitting pan on a hard surface. Dip pieces into melted chocolate
- Place dipped pieces on wax paper until chocolate is firm. Store in air tight container.
