Overnight Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

Overnight Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

What a perfect start to a fall day~
From apple picking to racking leaves,
this delicious, warm, pumpkin oatmeal,
will surely start you day off right.

Serve pumpkin pie oatmeal with a drizzle of maple syrup and dried cranberries.

Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal is made with steel-cut oats,
canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice.
Delicious on a chilly fall morning.

Overnight Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

  • 1 1/2 cups steel cut oats
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • maple syrup, for serving
  • dried cranberries, for serving
Cooking Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a lightly buttered slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally if possible.
  3. Serve with maple syrup and dried cranberries.

  1. Am not usually too gung ho for Oatmeal but that bowl of it looks so good, need cold morning to dig in.
    Noticed glass or plastic leaves in bowl and next to it, what are those, love how color and light makes them look so pretty. Where did you find those, would love to get some.

      The colored leaves in the photos are actually plastic.
      They come in packages, with about 15 leaves per package.
      Now for the exciting part.....
      I bought the packages at the Dollar Tree for you guessed it,
      $1.00..needless to say I bought 5 packages:)
