Hawaiian French Toast made with
S Rosen's Hawaiian Bread and
Served with Pineapple Jam

Hawaiian French Toast

  • 4 large eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons evaporated milk, milk or coconut milk
  • 4 slices Hawaiian bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Cooking Directions
  1. In a 2-quart glass baking dish, whisk together: eggs, salt. pepper, vanilla extract and milk.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Dip bread slices into egg mixture until saturated.
  4. Place slices in skillet, fry until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve with maple syrup and pineapple jam.
