Bacon and Tomato Spaghetti

Bacon and Tomato Spaghetti

Delicious and So Tasty~
Perfect for lunch or a late night snack~

Bacon and Tomato Spaghetti

  • 1 pound spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 pound bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 2 tomatoes, diced and seeded
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette, of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cooking Directions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Saute' bacon until crispy, about 10 minutes. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Remove all but about 2 tablespoons bacon grease from pan.
  2. Add onions and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook until onions are translucent, about 7 to 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and bacon to the skillet. Cook on low about 20 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  3. Toss with cooked spaghetti and shredded Parmesan cheese.
