Smoked Oyster Spread

Smoked Oyster Spread

My Grandma served this delicious dip each year on Christmas Eve~

Smoked Oyster Spread

  • 1 (8 oz) can smoked oysters, drained
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 6 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning or seafood seasoning
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Cooking Directions
  1. Coarsely chop the oysters and set aside.
  2. Whip together the cream cheese, garlic, soy sauce, parsley, hot sauce, old bay seasoning and mayonnaise. Gently stir in the oysters, refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Serve with thick slices of dark pumpernickel bread, assorted veggies or crackers
