Maple Rum Brown Butter Glaze

Maple Rum Brown Butter Glaze

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons rum extract
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons milk
Cooking Directions
  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat for 7 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from heat.
  2. Whisk in sifted powdered sugar, maple syrup and rum extract.
  3. Whisk in as much milk as needed to make of drizzling consistency.
Drizzle over: Banana Cake
